Self-Defense

My self-defense training aims to help women identify and avoid potentially dangerous situations.

The training includes various techniques and strategies to help women defend themselves against attacks and ensure their safety.

A self-protection training for women must meet particularly high quality standards, as a woman cannot rely on her pure physical strength.

A good self-defense system teaches you which factors cause violence and shows you easy and useful tips for everyday life to protect yourself from it. In addition to effective and realistic techniques, a first-class self-defense program strengthens your self-confidence and helps you develop your inner strength.

The best form of self-defense is basically prevention.

A general attention to what is happening around you, as well as a confident and self-confident appearance are good avoidance strategies in order not to get into the situation of having to defend yourself in the first place. As a coach, I have made it my mission to strengthen women physically and mentally. My courses should help women to walk through life confidently, show their inner strength and master every challenge.

Muay Thai

Muay Thai developed over centuries from the traditional martial arts of Thailand. When sword and spear became unusable, the warrior used his legs, fists and elbows to fight. The traditional kind is called Muay Boran. The sporty variant of the traditional Muay Boran is called Muay Thai or Thai boxing.

In my training units, I attach particular importance to teaching the basics of this martial art.

This means that I not only teach my students the techniques, but also the principles and philosophy and behind the martial arts. By attaching importance to teaching the basics, I ensure that my students can develop a deep understanding of martial arts and put their skills on a solid foundation.

Teaching the basics of a martial art is crucial for the success of a student. Without a solid foundation, it will be difficult to learn more advanced techniques and be successful in competitions. In addition, understanding the history and philosophy of a martial art helps students to develop a deeper appreciation for the art form and to consider it not only as a sport, but as a way of life.

My Journey

I have been actively engaged in martial arts for over 20 years now and have gained a wealth of experience in various disciplines during this time. It all started when I was 10 years old and started karate training. This was my first point of contact in the field of martial arts. I was able to gain my first experience in the field of martial arts. There I learned self-control, discipline and mutual respect.

This experience eventually led me to the Sendling sports club when I switched to Muay Thai training at the age of 13. This experience was formative and has developed me much further. I have reached the next level in my development as a martial artist there through the full contact training.

When I was 16 years old, I already participated in full-contact martial arts competitions and felt completely immersed in the world of martial arts. I wanted to learn as much as possible and continued to explore a variety of other martial arts, such as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, Dog Brothers martial arts and various self-defense systems.

My experiences in martial arts were invaluable and made me the martial artist I am today. I am still actively working on improving my skills and optimizing my coaching skills. I am constantly looking for new ways to challenge myself and continue to grow as a martial arts trainer.

My choice of vocational training led me into the security area. I completed my training as a specialist for protection and safety and worked in the security sector for some time. During this time, I have refined my skills as a trained specialist in protection and safety. I had the privilege of qualifying as a melee trainer at the internationally renowned Todd Group. Since she specializes in the training of the military, police and civilian security forces, this was an invaluable experience for me.

After my professional experience in the field of security, I also continued my education in the areas of sport and (mental) health and completed my studies in the field of sports science.

My bachelor's thesis had a martial arts topic (correlation of the maximum hull rotational force to the maximum impact force of a box punch among amateur boxers).

During my studies, I was particularly interested in the field of mental training and sports psychology. I am now a certified trainer for autogenic training and have completed various meditation courses.

The knowledge and experience I have gained in recent years have made me a passionate and experienced coach in the fields of self-defense, martial arts and fitness. My goal is to help and inspire others with my skills, and I am constantly striving to improve my coaching and teaching techniques.

I am confident that the knowledge and experience I have gained have helped me to be an effective coach in the areas of safety, martial arts and fitness.

My coaching philosophy

All my life, martial arts have been a source of inspiration and a metaphor for how I see the world. It's more than just physical training, it's a mental and spiritual journey that can help build strength and resilience. The training gave me the opportunity to challenge myself, expand my limits and build up my inner strength through a high degree of discipline, concentration and resilience. I have discovered that what I have learned in martial arts can also be applied to other areas of my life, from relationships to work and beyond.

Martial arts require a high level of discipline, attention to detail and strategic thinking. You also have to deal with your negative beliefs in order to move forward.

On a physical level, martial arts help us to develop strength, mobility, coordination and flexibility. We learn how to move our bodies more effectively and improve our overall physical health. In addition, martial arts is a great form of physical exercise and helps us burn calories and build muscle.

On a mental level, martial arts helps us to develop the necessary skills to stay focused, think logically and deal with difficult situations. It teaches us to be mindful and conscious with our thoughts and feelings and to remain calm and calm in stressful situations.

We also learn to channel our energy in a more productive way and to approach solving problems more strategically.

On the spiritual level, the martial art helps us to connect with our inner self, to understand and appreciate the beauty of life and to recognize our individual value and benefit. It can help us to develop a greater self-confidence and self-love and to treat ourselves and the people around us in a more compassionate and understanding way.

One of the most important lessons I have learned in martial arts is proactivity and the development of a positive mental basic attitude. When I started my martial arts training, I quickly realized that it is not only about strength and strength, but also about dealing with the pain and exhaustion that arise when you strain your body to its limits. I have learned to overcome my physical limits and deal with discomfort. This ability can be used in all areas of life, be it to have difficult conversations or to finish a project that is beginning to overwhelm me.

Martial arts also taught me how important discipline and attention to detail are. I have learned that there is no shortcut to master a certain movement or technique, and that it takes dedication and precision to improve your skills. I have applied this valuable lesson to many aspects of my life, from learning for exams to developing a new skill at work.

In addition, martial arts has also helped me to develop mental strength, face my fears and break out of my comfort zone. It has shown me that I can achieve more than I trust, and that with the right attitude I can master every challenge that life poses to me. This is an invaluable lesson that I have used to face difficult tasks and pursue goals that I never thought possible.

Martial arts can also be used to improve interpersonal communication. We learn to deal with disagreements in a respectful and mature way, to communicate better and to deal with difficult people. In addition, we learn to be more confident and stand up for ourselves without being hostile or aggressive.

In addition, martial arts can help us develop better habits and routines. He can help us to become more disciplined in our daily lives, to stay organized, to set goals for ourselvs and to strive for excellence. We learn to be mindful of our time and resources and to use them wisely.

After all, martial arts Training has also helped me develop a sense of personal responsibility and emotional resilience. I have learned that I am the only one who can make decisions for me, and that I can rely on my own inner strength and willpower to survive difficult times. This has strengthened my confidence in my own abilities and helped me to find a personal balance in all areas of my life.

All in all, martial arts was an incredible journey that had a profound impact on my life. She helped me to grow both physically and mentally, to develop resilience and strength, and to develop a better understanding of myself and the world around me. I am forever grateful for the lessons I have learned through martial arts, and I am happy to pass on these lessons in my coaching sessions.

  • Principle-oriented training

  • Everyone is different and needs an individual approach to be successfully coached

  • Fun during training is important

  • reality-based training

  • intensive training

  • As a coach, I can provide the support, the knowledge, the motivation and the diagnosis of the performance - but unfortunately I cannot take over the personal work and implementation for anyone -> personal responsibility for the progress and personal development
